The 2016 Nissan GT-R carries over significant enhancements from the previous model year, including an enhanced exterior appearance with LED headlights and new front and rear designs. The LED headlights include an LED high beam with three different low beams with long distance illumination and wide illumination. Inside is the available semi-aniline leather interior with hand-stitching on the front seats, a standard black interior, or a GT-R Black Edition with a unique red and black interior and Recaro seats.

Tech-wise, the 2016 Nissan GT-R comes with a video game-inspired display that was created in collaboration with the makers of the Gran Turismo video game. This includes Bluetooth Hands-free connectivity, NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic, and NavWeather capabilities. All GT-R models come with an 11-speaker Bose audio system with two forward-facing woofers. Standard safety items include Nissan's Advanced Air bag System for the driver and front passenger, front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags, standard roof-mounted curtain side-impact air bags, and front seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters.
2016 Nissan GT-R Performance
The standard 2016 Nissan GT-R arrives with a hand-crafted 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged 24-valve V-6 with 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft of torque. This engine achieves 23 miles per gallon highway and 16 city. If you're looking for something even faster, the GT-R NISMO offers the same 3.8-liter, but with 600 horsepower. Connected to the 3.8-liter is an advanced paddle-shifted sequential 6-speed dual clutch transmission. Keeping the car table in the turns is a double wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, both with aluminum arms. Stopping the power are 15.4-inch and 15-inch Nissan/Brembo brakes with two-piece floating-rotors with diamond-pattern internal ventilation. The 2016 Nissan GT-R was truly made with performance in mind!
